Your Job as a Recovery Coach:

The Recovery Coach works with the care management team in providing a seamless continuum of care. Maintains regular and constant communication with patients to provide a set of non-clinical activities that engage, educate and offer support to patients. Will be responsible for coordinating care and serve as patient advocate. The Recovery Coach will help patients to remove personal and environmental obstacles to health care access and help them remain in recovery.

We have 8 hour, daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm.

Your Responsibilities as a Recovery Coach:
  • Facilitate peer lead support groups.
  • Serve as a mentor for patients by demonstrating ways to become empowered and self-responsible.
  • Providing care management and care coordination services for patients in the clinic. Responsible for coordinating continuum of care activities for assigned patients and ensuring optimum utilization of resources, service delivery, and compliance with external agencies and referral sources requirements;
  • May also be responsible for conducting individual, and family educational sessions, various duties related to coordinating treatment and discharge activities, as needed;
  • Coordinates in a timely manner, issues or activities relevant to the team, and/or to the team's relationship within the facility or treatment milieu; and,
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Job Requirements


Your Skills and Qualifications as a Recovery Coach:
  • High School Diplomapreferred, but not required
  • 1-2 years of experience working in behavioral health or substance use disorder recovery setting preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Intentional Peer Support (CIPSS) or Certified Recovery Coach.
