Job Description

70k, hybrid remote option, experience with multinational corps a plus, working with overseas teams in Hong Kong and Singapore, rarely but sometimes will need to do 7 or 8 am video meetings with the overseas teams who will be 12 hours ahead at 7-8pm.

We are looking for an International Accountant who truly is passionate about General Ledger Accounting and running Month End Close Processes. A true team member who can jump in add value and help drive the processes outlined below.

o Assists in areas in financial reporting and other daily/monthly accounting processes.

o Completes various account analyses and reconciliations

o Identifies, researches, and resolves items impacting the domestic and international financial statements

o Flexible for limited off-hours ad-hoc meetings

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

o Prepares all monthly journal entries, including revenue recognition and month-end accruals

o Prepare and update international financial statements on a monthly basis

o Administer all activities for general ledger and monitor integrity of all transactions

o Prepares account analyses

o Designs and prepares monthly reconciliations for specific international entities

o Prepare reporting packages to load into Corporate ERP system for consolidation

o Intercompany reconciliations/eliminations amongst all legal entities

o Assists tax department with required financials and documents for statutory audits

o Works with tax department on various reporting deliverables

o Provides financial/analytical support to various departments

o Researches issues and proposal of solutions

o Must be flexible for limited off-hour ad-hoc meetings different time zones, which includes Asia and Europe

o Develops ad hoc reports and financial analyses

o Escalates issues noted to management in a timely manner

o Creates processes and identifies opportunities for improvements

o Performs additional duties as assigned

o Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

o Qualifications

§ Bachelor's Degree (in Accounting or Finance) or above required

§ Knowledge and application of Intermediate/Advanced Excel

o Experience

§ Approximately 5+ years' General Ledger (GL) Accounting or combination of Accounting/Finance experience preferred including GL Accounting.

§ Strong preference for running audit or month end close processes

§ Experience with different currencies and foreign exchange

§ Knowledge of International Accounting Standards preferred

§ Experience in working with various systems (Sage and Microsoft AX)

o Skills/Abilities
