Recruiting/Hiring Manager job summary :

This position has responsibility for full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, verification of prior employment, and negotiating offers to help hiring managers fill open positions. This position reports directly to the Restaurant HR Director.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

Recruiting/Hiring Manager job duties & responsibilities :
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify position needs, source qualified candidates, seek feedback, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Conduct effective intake meetings with hiring managers to understand job details.
  • Develop plans to source qualified candidates and increase applicant pools, using appropriate sources such as job boards, college career fairs, internet sites and networking.
  • Champion Circle K Restaurants as great place to work.
  • Clearly communicates with applicants regarding all eligible benefits.
  • Educate, influence, and enable the QSR Market Managers and QSR Supervisors to recruit and hire the right talent at site level.
  • Identify process issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide timely updates to hiring managers with information regarding marketplace obstacles and work with manager to identify solutions.
  • Effectively use business systems such as Microsoft Suite, Workday, and other Applicant Tracking systems to manage recruitment.
  • Leverage available tools and resources to increase diversity of applicant pool and review quarterly diversity scorecard.
  • Establish and measure key metrics such as stick rate, retention, and time to hire.
  • Understand key policies, practices, guidelines, and legal requirements of talent acquisition and their effect on the selection process.
  • Maintain records and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Accomplish any other job requirements as necessary.

Recruiting/Hiring Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Travel required.
  • Ability to listen to hiring manager and applicants to clearly understand their respective needs and specifications of the job.
  • Effectively communicate knowledge of company to influence applicants to see company as a great place to work.
  • Consultative skills to influence hiring managers on the Talent Acquisition process and candidate selection.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Workday.
  • Basic negotiating skills to fill positions and provide win-win outcomes for the hiring manager and applicant.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with hiring managers to resolve and remove obstacles.
  • Ability to use the applicant tracking system to manage and track all candidate information to comply with legal requirements and procedures.
