We are looking for a driven and structured Equipment Specialist who enjoys working independently and being part of a motivated team within an entrepreneurial culture that is fast-paced and informal. You will be an integral part within the Construction group for both NTI's and Urban projects throughout North America, and will be responsible to set up equipment, procurement prioritizations, vendor relationships, scheduling and follow through.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews plans and creates Purchase Orders for all equipment and coordinates equipment deliveries with vendors for Construction projects.
  • Receives and codes invoices related to construction projects. Prepares invoicing for approval by others according to authorization authority & follows up as necessary. Responds to vendor invoice inquiries, as necessary.
  • Maintains standard prototype equipment list.
  • Tracks current lead times and equipment pricing for all equipment.
  • Distributes weekly or bi-weekly reporting, as necessary.
  • Updates tracking database (Smartsheets) with required dates/data provided by the Construction staff.
  • Creates and maintains equipment forecast model for all equipment suppliers.
  • Works with AP to get new vendors set up in the accounting system.
  • Maintains vendor relationship.
  • Works with Site Repository staff to ensure site addresses in POPA are accurate.
  • Updates Cost Trackers throughout the course of all projects.
  • Files, scans and organizes documents, as needed.
  • Performs other job-related projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all other related results as needed.

Experience and Personal Qualities
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at any given time.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to work well with Construction Managers and equipment consolidation vendors, as well as with others both inside and outside the organization.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience from large/complex organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft applications, specifically including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
