A Research Assistant III position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Lin Guo, at Thomas Jefferson University to study protein aggregation, protein phase separation, and to develop methods to reverse protein aggregation and aberrant phase transition in the context of neurodegenerative diseases. Our lab uses a combination of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and biophysics techniques to tackle these problems. Responsibilities will include driving an independent research project, presenting data at regular laboratory meetings and assisting in the general running of the lab. Bachelor's Required. 2+ years' experience or Master's degree, no required experience. We are looking for recent graduates in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Cell Biology, Genetics, Neuroscience, and related areas. Research experience with biochemical, cell biological and molecular biological techniques is desirable.
