About the Position:

About the Position:

The eCommerce Manager is responsible for coordinating and support of the performance and merchandising strategy of the eCommerce site to deliver sales objectives. Strategies will be supported by analysis of metrics, User/AB testing and current market trends thereby delivering and executing actionable insights, analyses and recommendations for both short- and long-term strategies for the storefront. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

  • Responsible for all storefront marketing including managing site refreshes and site refresh calendar, the development of all site marketing graphics and content partnering with marketing, and all data analytics and metrics associated with site merchandising.
  • Performs competitive site and marketing analysis to strengthen the storefront and always be aware of the competition within the specialty food space, reflects this progress/new insights into future campaigns
  • Development and maintenance of a weekly wireframe site refresh calendar and process for turning over/receiving assets, tracking against deadlines, and implementing new content on the website via a weekly site refresh
  • Actively merchandise product to ensure optimal presentation and sell through including landing pages, product grid walls and product pages
  • Product onboarding - responsible for launching all new product on the website including validating pricing, copy, images, and enhanced photography assets for each SKU.
  • Develop recommendations on site functionality, navigation optimization
  • Lead the development of a copy style guide for the web partnering with, Marketing and Merchandising Teams to develop on brand, formulaic, and consumer friendly product descriptions and titles that are SEO optimized.
  • Execute new product set up in the content management system, adding "What's inside" detailed information, proofing each product and launching products on time.
  • Partner with Merchandising & Marketing teams to collect details to set up promotions as well as request the site assets needed
  • Manage ratings & reviews on seasonal products to drive conversion
  • Partners with the Merchandising team to assess the navigation seasonally ensuring its easily shoppable and showcases the assortment
  • Perform regular UAT to ensure clean customer shopping experience across devices.
  • Support monthly and ad hoc reporting requests as needed by the business
  • Using the web analytics tool, monitor and analyze key performance metrics for marketing initiatives and identify ways in which to apply to future activities and optimize efforts

At a minimum, what you'll need
  • BA or BBA required; preferably in marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience preferably in eCommerce, Merchandising and/or website merchandising
  • Understanding of and passion for digital retail landscape
  • Technical aptitude with web-based tools and working knowledge of HTML
  • Be proactive and team-oriented with the ability to work across functions and levels
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Be a clear and concise communicator
  • Have an exemplary attention to detail and desire to execute accurately
  • Familiarity with site analytics tools and with content management tools
